So, I’ve got some film related content that I want to share with you guys. The first being…

Stephen King’s Top 10 Films of 2009
Top 10

10. 2012 – “solid actors having fun, and stuffed with eye-popping special effects”
9. Fantastic Mr. Fox
8. The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 – “makes Public Enemies look pretty tame.”
7. Law Abiding Citizen
6. District 9 – “If 2012 is good cheese, then District 9 is a fine wine.”
5. The Reader
4. Disgrace
3. The Road – “often painful to watch”
2. The Last House on the Left
1. The Hurt Locker

Now, I grew up on reading Stephen King, so I respect the man’s taste. I’m not going to talk badly about any of the films that he picked. I just wanted to say that his choices are interesting. Mr. King is not a film critic so it’s not surprising that his top 10 lacks the films that, say, Roger Ebert picked (Mr. Ebert picked Synecdoche, New York as #1).

James Bond 23 On Hold
Hold Please

So, I’m not sure if many of you know what’s going on with MGM, Bond’s parent company. In short, MGM is in financial limbo. The studio doesn’t have any money, more importantly any “owners.” So, this financial state has put Bond on hold. The article mentions an old interview with Total Film where they talk about pre-production starting in February. Not sure if this is going to come to fruition. So, it’ll be a while before we see Daniel Craig’s mug up on the big screen as Bond.

Make sure to tell Nicholas, you guys.
